Dakota Fizz will be offering some sweet treats for the 1st Day of School tomorrow (8/20). Their truck will be parked out in front of the school from 2-4 PM. Open to all staff, students, and community members. Cash, venmo, or card are acceptable forms of payment.

Pleased to introduce Austin Schroeder to the Tornado education team!

About Me:
My name is Austin Schroeder and I will be teaching high school science this upcoming school year. This upcoming school year will be my 8th year of teaching! I am also a coach for junior high football and the HOSA & National Honor's Society Advisor. I am currently living in Sioux Falls with my girlfriend. Together we have one daughter named Presley, two sons named Carson and Jordan and one baby on the way that is due on October 10th! In my spare time you can find me outdoors or doing something sports related! I love to travel and see all the different opportunities in our world today!

My Why:
I am very excited to teach in Centerville this upcoming school year. As I grew up, I came from a smaller rural school as well and I love the aspect of we are all in this together and the sense of community and involvement from everyone! I am excited to see students grow their knowledge throughout the school years and into the adults they are to become! I decided to become a teacher thanks to some great teachers in high school that showed me the fun and excitement of science and how having wonder and curiosity is a powerful tool. I am honored and thrilled to be a part of the process that shows students the advancements in science and allows them to reach their full potential.
