1/14/25 Basketball action vs Scotland/Menno @ Menno. Games as follows 5 pm JV Girls auditorium JV boys main gym 6:15 pm Varsity Girls main gym followed by Varsity Boys Military Appreciation Night All current and retired military personnel are invited to attend the Scotland/Menno Trappers Doubleheader Basketball games on Tuesday, January 14 vs. Centerville free of charge. They will also get a free popcorn coupon. The JV games will both start at 5:00 and girls’ varsity will begin at 6:15 and boys’ varsity will follow around 7:30. Please sign your name and service information on the ticket table clipboard when you arrive. All military personnel will be introduced before the start of the boys’ varsity game. The Centerville Elementary students had an awards assembly this morning to celebrate all of their amazing accomplishments from the first half of the school year. Students received awards for writing, math, reading, perfect attendance and character. We have had three students that have read at least a million words since the beginning of last school year and have become the initial members of the Million Word Club! Congratulations to Adalyn, Preslee, and Anni! Awesome Work Students!

The Centerville staff had a little fun before Christmas break by having Underground Dress Up Days once a week throughout November and December. Here are the photos from the underground dress up days!! There was a secret dress up day once a week that was only for the staff.

The halls of the building are now quiet as the students and staff are gone for the holiday break. The students and staff of Centerville had a special visitor this morning. We look forward to having everyone back in the building on Monday, January 6th after a much deserved break!

A Good Deed of the Day in our elementary was given to two of our 3rd Grade students, Maxx and Graedy! They were awarded from Mrs. Jorgensen who said, "Maxx and Graedy picked up garbage during their lunch recess. They scoured the entire playground looking for garbage to clean up and nobody had even asked them to." Thanks for promoting a clean, positive environment in our school boys!
