
Reminder Pops Concert tonight. The meal will start at 6:15 pm to allow the Concert to start at 7 pm.


The district is seeking a part-time paraprofessional for the remainder of this school year and beyond. The paraprofessional works 5 hours per day in classrooms with small groups of students. We will have a 10am start tomorrow, Friday, February 24th. This will allow for additional time for roads, driveways, and sidewalks to be cleared. Busses will run where possible.

With the continued weather we are experiencing, there will be no school tomorrow, Thursday, February 23rd.

Region 4B basketball update. With the incoming weather the following change has been made. Centerville vs Freeman at Irene 7 pm Saturday February 25,2023.

Due to the impending weather and blizzard warning, the Centerville School District will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, February 22nd. Stay safe!

2/21: We will host Girls 4B regions. We will play Menno at 7:30 pm. Check back in case of weather causing time changes. These games ill also be livestreamed on tornadoes liveticket tv.

2/16/23: Another busy night in our facilities. Parent teacher night starts at 3 pm and goes until 6 pm. Teachers for grades 6-12 will be set up in the gold gym. The purple gym will be busy with basketball following the schedule below:

Halftime of the Varsity Girls we will have a few festivities taking place. First of all we will recognize the senior boys basketball players and parents. Immediately following that we will have our kiss the pig contest winner pucker up for the booster club fundraiser. Come on out and cheer on the Tornadoes!!

Congratulations to these two young men for moving on to the next level as a student/athlete. Logan pictured on the left will be attending Mt. Marty University to play baseball. He currently plans to pursue a career in sports medicine. Lane on the right is committing to Northwestern College to continue his academic and track and field career. He will pole vault and sprint for the Raiders. Lane plans to major in Elementary Education while at Northwestern.

The February 15th edition of the Tornado Times is out today. This edition is filled with Science experiments, Shane Rist Legislative Page, January Students of the Month, and much more! Get your hard copies at the school Library, One American Bank, and Lewis Drug.


Good Morning: Due to icy roads, slippery conditions, and country drifting, the Centerville School District will have a 10am start today, Wednesday, February 15th. We will keep our 2pm dismissal for parent-teacher conferences. Middle and High School will run periods 3-7.

The Clay Shooting Club will have an informational & signup meeting on Wednesday, February 15th at 6 pm in the school commons for any students 6th-12th grade that are interested. Thanks
