Centerville Elementary students grades 1st through 5th will have the opportunity to showcase their speaking skills and talent by presenting the poetry they have been working on.

Monday, May 20th 9:00 AM (1st-3rd in their classrooms 4th and 5th in the purple gym)
What:
Oral Interp competition where students will perform a poem they have chosen.

Reminder we will have awards night for academics and activities 5/9/24. We will also do a senior participants and parents recognition for golf and track. Schedule is attached.
This week, the Centerville School District welcomes sculptor Darwin Wolf from Wolf Bronze. Darwin is spending the week at the school sharing his sculpting expertise with students in first grade through sixth grade. Each student will have the opportunity to create their own sculpture with Darwin's assistance. This exciting opportunity was made possible through an Artists in Schools & Communities residency program grant awarded to the Centerville Arts Council and the Centerville School District by the South Dakota Arts Council. May 3, 2024. Great Spring concert performances by the 5-12 band and choir students! Thanks to Mrs. Herrboldt and Mr. Morphew for helping showcase the talent the students are blessed with. With the amount of anticipated rainfall in store for tomorrow, we are cancelling the MS/HS track meet at Gayville-Volin Invite. There will be no make up date. The JH/JV golf meet in Scotland is postponed to April 25.
