7 pm Varsity football tonight @ Gayville-Volin. There will be a hot dog feed before the game. Game will be streamed on the Gayville-Volin School website. Get out enjoy the weather and cheer on the Tornadoes!!

The CHS Marching Band will be competing in their last marching competition on Friday, October 9 at 10:00 in Menno. It would be great to have you come out and support the marching band and hear some great music. The bands will be marching down main street from north to south and there will be an awards ceremony at the football field following the parade competition. Again, thanks for all your support and dedication throughout the season. GO TORNADOES!!!

Cross Country's last regular season meet is today @ Irene Golf Course. This will be the last event for many of the athletes. Races will start at 3 pm in this order: Varsity Boys, Varsity Girls, JV together, JH Boys, JH Girls. Good Luck to the Tornado runners!!!

Tuffy's Tots Daycare will be having a free-will donation supper at the football game Friday. We will be serving hot ham and cheese sandwiches, chips, cookie and water from 5:00-7:00pm.

Tonight's volleyball games will be live streamed through our new NFHS camera system. These services is usually a paid subscription. Thanks to the hard work and partnership from Kent Austin and his crew from the Turner County Highway Dept. the parking lot is finished. We ask that students and staff utilize our parking lot. Refraining from parking on the city streets and the Catholic Church parking lot. Thank you to the Catholic Church for allowing us to utilize their lot while ours was being worked on.

While our parking lot is close to being complete, it is not quite ready to be parked on. This attending coronation tonight are asked to park on the city street. Thanks for your cooperation.

Homecoming Activities for today: 4 pm Cross Country @ Alcester-Hudson 4 pm 7-9th grade Football @ Scotland 7 pm Coronation at the Gold gym Anyone is allowed to attend coronation. Please practice social distancing. We do recommend you wear a mask. If at all possible sit with your family. There will be a section for the student body. Scotland youth center is having a tail gate at the rodeo grounds building (just east of the football field) from 5:00 to 7:00 serving a walking taco and bottle of water for $6.00. This is for the Football game tonight in Scotland.

There was an inaccuracy in the paper. Centerville school is NOT limiting attendance at home events. We also are charging admission. The information was to the public about an event that was at a different school. We will try to update you if away events have restrictions as the date gets closer. If you would like to attend our events we would love to have you. Please practice social distancing and wear a mask when you are unable to. I hope this helps clear up any questions from the public.
