Another "Good Deed of the Day" in our high school from CHS junior Braden Bjordal. He was recognized by Miss Davis for recognizing that there was a stool in her classroom that needed to be fixed and volunteering his time to fix it! In memory of September 11th, the 4th grade class read some stories about 9-11 and made a collaborative color project to remember the date.
Tornado Nation let's start the day with a "Good Deed of the Day"! Senior James Buckneberg was recognized by Ms. Gust for his kindness to a group of elementary students. She said "Today in 1st Grade PE I had a couple of students really excited to play catch with one of our high school football players, and as my student aid James was very kind and stepped in to catch their passes and throw some to them. Watching their pure joy at getting to work with him was the best part of my day and I bet theirs too! He is always patient and kind to the kids!" Seeing high school students model kindness and inclusiveness to our elementary kids makes us very proud to be Tornadoes! Great work James!

Centerville School kicks off another week with a "Good Deed of the Day"! Kindergarten student Kennedi Peterson was recognized by her teacher Mrs. Davie for helping a friend. Mrs. Davie saw her offer to tie a friend's shoes that were untied, and not only that...she tied them perfectly! Thanks for spreading kindness in our school Kennedi!

9-11th Grade Prom fundraiser packets were sent home last week. All students are encouraged to participate. The easiest way is to register online and share the student fundraising link. Orders are due on Friday, Sept. 13. All money should be collected at the time of order with checks made out to Centerville Prom.
