Good Afternoon: As a reminder for close contacts. If a parent or others in the household have a positive COVID test, every one in the household is a close-contact according to our return to learn plan and the Department of Health. This requires students to quarantine for 14-days. Also, if you have pending test results, we ask that you keep students home until you have results. Please use our symptom checklist daily with your student. Thank you

Each month the NHS students choose two staff members, one from the elementary level and one from the secondary level, of the Centerville School District for "Educator of the Month," for the previous month. Educators are chosen for their commitment to scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
Attached is a picture NHS members Alyssa Brandsrud and Mya Bendt presenting the certificate to Ms. Jacquelynn Skotvold and Ms. Jenna Reiff. (not pictured: Haley Meyer, Sophie Eide) Congratulations to both for being chosen by the NHS to be October's Educator of the Month! We appreciate all the time, effort, and contributions that they have made to the Centerville School District.

Based on COVID and keeping everyone safe, the district will not be hosting an in person Veteran’s Day assembly. The district is however finishing the final touches for a virtual program. On the morning of November 11th, the district will share a YouTube Link featuring performances to honor our Veterans.
Thank you
