The Tornado Education Foundation is a foundation established through the South Dakota Community Foundation. The Tornado Education Foundation was established in 2018. Through a collaborative effort between the Centerville Development Corporation and Centerville School District the foundation was developed. The Centerville Development Corporation donated $80,000 to have a lasting impact for our students, teachers, and advisors. The foundation provides grants each year in the areas of classroom innovation, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) initiatives, arts, and athletics. To date, we have provided $4,000 in grant money for these types of projects. Alumni, grandparents, parents, and friends if you would like to donate to the foundation for a continued lasting educational impact you can do that with us. No donation is too small. Please mail checks made out to South Dakota Community Foundation (memo: Tornado Education Foundation) to: Centerville School C/O Eric Knight PO Bo 100, Centerville, SD 57014. Thank you for your support!
