Good Morning Elementary Parents: We are off to a fantastic start, thank you. Now that we are off and running, I wanted to send a couple of reminders. Our breakfast program starts at 7:30 and runs until 8:05, students should be dropped off at the south commons entrance. Recess starts at 7:50, students should be dropped off right at the playground. No students should enter the building unless they are getting help from a teacher until recess and breakfast are over. Parents if you come to the school please enter through our main entrance. The librarians cannot let you through their door. If you have questions or need help, please contact the school. Thank you, Mr. Knight

6th Grade Orientation will take place Open House Night, August 15th, at 6pm in the purple gym. At this time, students will be introduced to the middle school handbook and their class schedules for the year. Please have at least one parent attend the orientation with your child. If you have any questions, you can reach out to Mr. Edberg or Mrs. Lindstrom. See you soon!
Centerville School will be hosting their Open House on Monday, August 15th from 6:30-7:30. Prek-12th grade students meet your teachers and much more! A mandatory sports meeting will take place following the open house in the purple gym.
The school will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday, August 3rd) for floor waxing. The office will be open for phone call and information. Thank you!
Reminder for any 6th-12th grade athletes: If you don't have a physical done for this calendar year, you will not be allowed to participate in any school athletics until you have one. Pioneer Memorial Clinic will be offering physicals at the school tomorrow, Tuesday, August 2nd from 8:30-10:30am. The cost is $30, they do not accept any insurance.

The Tornado Days Firecracker Track Meet, 3K, & 5K Runs were a huge success. Thank you to all the volunteers who stepped up to make this event happen. The Firecracker Track Meet will take place tomorrow, Saturday at 9am. Anyone still interested but not registered can register tomorrow morning from 7:45-8:45am. Field events will take place at 9:00am.
Come join us at the north baseball field for family movie night, tonight, Thursday, June 30th. The movie will start at sunset about 9:00pm. Admission is $2. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. WHAM will be having concessions. With the setting for our movie, we will be watching young Henry Rowengartner pitching for the Cubs in Rookie of the Year.
