The Centerville School Board is excited to announce Mr. Michael Fischer as the next superintendent and elementary principal. Mr. Fischer brings six years of experience as superintendent at Oldham Ramona. Mr. Fischer brings additional experience as a principal, technology coordinator, and athletic director. Before stepping into administration Mr. Fischer taught business and computer classes. Mr. Fischer is ready to join the Tornadoes. Mr. Fischer states, "My family and I, that includes my wife Maren, son Caleb (9th grader), son Nolan (7th grader) and daughter Harper (5th grader), are very excited to be a part of the Centerville community. Caps for Kobee The Centerville BBB Team would like your help as we reach out to the Viborg-Hurley school and community with our “Caps for Kobee” drive. Kobee Sherman, a 16 year old Viborg-Hurley student-athlete, was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma. As you can imagine this was a shock to his school, his community, and especially his family. We are asking that you please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as he will begin treatment immediately. The Centerville Tornadoes boys basketball team would like to help Kobee and his family through our Caps for a Cause Campaign. If you are a K-12 Centerville Student who would like to help we are giving you the opportunity to do just that! All of next week we will be “Wearing caps for Kobee” with either a daily or a weekly donation! Our goal is $5.00 per day or $20.00 for the week!! But of course, any and all donations will be appreciated!! Please contact a member of the CHS boys basketball team, stop by the school, or reach out to Coach Muller @ kory.muller@k12.sd.us if you would like to make a donation! Sincerely, The CHS BBB Team!
