The school district has been extremely blessed to partner with the Centerville Development Corporation (CDC) on a variety of impactful projects. In 2018 the district was able to partner with the CDC to form the Tornado Education Foundation. Since that time, the foundation has provided $8,400 in grants to four different areas within the school: STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), the Arts, Classroom Innovations, and Athletics.
We are excited to announce the Centerville Development Corporation has decided to partner with us again. This time we are seeking funds to build a new structure at our football field and track complex. This new building will house a crow’s nest for announcing football games and track meets. It will also be a new location for a concession stand. This new concession stand will bring the concessions to the home side of our complex and provide much-needed additional space for the groups running the concession stands. The new building will also have a new men’s and women’s restroom, again providing facilities to the home side of our complex. Lastly, the new structure will provide storage for track and football equipment.
The CDC has committed $50,000 toward this project if we can match their donation. We are asking those who would like to be involved with our project to make a donation. Donations can be sent to the school and can be used for tax purposes. Donor families that donate $500 or more, $1,000 or more, and $2,500 or more will have their names displayed on the exterior of the building for years to come. Businesses and corporations that would also like to donate and be recognized as corporate donors by doing the same. Corporations and Businesses that donate $5,000 or more will have their own separate plague to show their contribution to this project. Any and all donations are welcomed and can help make this dream project a reality.
